Position Overview

Static Steel LLC seeks a Senior Civil Engineer – Solar Structures for its Prescott, Arizona location.

The position involves performing and coordinating structural engineering activities for commercial structural steel and solar carport projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate structural engineering activities for commercial structural steel and solar carport projects.

• Review engineering drawings, structural calculations, specifications, and design documents.

• Develop, review, and coordinate steel shop drawings, connection details, and fabrication documentation.

• Coordinate with project managers, detailers, fabrication personnel, subcontractors, and external engineers.

• Evaluate constructability, structural requirements, fabrication methods, and field conditions.

• Provide engineering oversight of fabrication and installation.

• Develop engineering standards, methodologies, and quality-control procedures.

• Support project planning, scheduling, and execution.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering Technology, or related Engineering or Construction field, plus five (5) years of experience in Structural Steel Construction, Construction Project Management, Steel Fabrication, Solar Construction, or related occupation.

Travel Requirements

Travel to project locations throughout the United States approximately 1–2 times per six-month period, as required by project needs. Each trip typically involves 1–2 days at the project location, plus necessary travel time.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual Salary: $130,000

• Paid Time Off (PTO)
